Data Collection of Micro Small Enterprises (UMK) and Large Medium Enterprises (UMB) is a continuation of Economic Census 2016 held throughout Indonesia including Asmat Regency. In general, the purpose of this activity is to produce detailed UMK and UMB profile data as the basis for the formulation of various policies and analysis on macro and micro level. In addition, the results of UMK and UMB data collection are also used as benchmarking and databases for various further surveys in the economic field.

Before collecting data, BPS of Asmat Regency held training activities or training of enumerators located at Credit Union Ndar Sesepok Agats Building. The event which was attended by 11 participants was officially opened by Mr. Sugiyanto, SST, M.Si as the Head of BPS of Asmat Regency. In his speech, Head of BPS of Asmat Regency explained that enumerator training is a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for every survey activity held by BPS. This training as a guarantee of the quality of the data generated. In addition, Head of BPS Asmat Regency also said that data collection will be held in 406 business samples spread throughout the Asmat Regency.

              The training course is facilitated by the National Instructor (Innas) Miss Tria Sayektiningsih, SST, who delivered the materials starting at 08.00 WIT until 17.30 WIT for four effective days (24-27 July 2017). During the learning process, the class is seem to run dynamically, interspersed with small discussions, role playing (exercise of direct interviews with entrepreneurs) and material deepening. As a form of appreciation to the participants who have the best value, Head of BPS Asmat Regency gives souvenirs to 3 participants with the best value. During the closing session, Mr. Sugiyanto, SST, M.Si advised that the material delivered by Innas can be implemented well on the field. "If you encounter problems during field enumeration, the enumerators can communicate directly with Innas so the solution can be obtained quickly", he added. Schedule of implementation of this activity is during August-September 2017.
