Asmat Regency's Economy in 2024 Grew by 5.54 percent

The economy of Asmat Regency in 2024 based on the Gross Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices (ADHB) reached IDR 3,409.87 billion and at constant prices (ADHK) 2010 reached IDR 1,825.14 billion.

The economy of Asmat Regency in 2024 was recorded to have experienced positive growth, namely 5.54 percent, slowing down 0.13 percent compared to the achievement in 2023 which grew 5.68 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business sector, namely 9.97 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest increase was recorded by the Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) Consumption component, namely 12.89 percent.

Structurally, the Construction business sector dominates the economic structure of Asmat Regency in 2024 with a contribution of 34.61, while in terms of expenditure it is dominated by the Household Consumption (PK-RT) component with a contribution of 81.62 percent.
